What is a Squarespace Design Day?
In my years as a web designer, I’ve come to realize that…not everyone needs a full redesign. Some folks just need a little help – call it a spruce, a refresh, a makeover; what it IS is a way for you to check something huge off of your to-do list in ONE DAY with the guidance, expertise, and genuine excitement of your own personal web designer.
Essentially, the Design Day is for folks who wish they could hire a Squarespace Designer just for a day, and finally make headway on that website to-do list.
On a Design Day, I work only with you, and together we tackle your website task list (I help you gather & prioritize this ahead of time, no worries) so that we can make your website goals a reality.
You’ll have 7 hours of my undivided attention as we collaborate & communicate – and the best part is that you’ll be able to watch the transformation unfold before your very eyes throughout the day.

After you reach out & we pick a day, the adventure (and guidance) begins! In addition to your Design Day, we’ll also set up a Strategy Call ahead of time; that’s where we’ll dig in to your goals & collaborate on what content to gather, what’s doable during our time, and how we want to prioritize our website task list for your Day!

Watch the transformation unfold!
We’ll grab our coffees and meet online to check in, say hi, review our task list & any new content you’ve gathered, and answer any final questions. Then we’re off!
I’ll work quickly, efficiently, and intentionally to implement your website goodies, and I’ll communicate with you frequently throughout the day to get your feedback and keep you updated.
For 7 hours, the world of Squarespace is our oyster & your newly refreshed site is the pot of gold at the end!

Your day may be over, but access to my support is not!
Empowering my clients to feel confident using & updating their website is a big ol’ goal of mine, so for two full weeks after our Design Day, you can ask me any questions that come up & I’ll respond with answers, training videos, and/or tutorials as it’s helpful!

What can we accomplish in a Design Day, you ask?
Great question! Here are some ideas of what we could work on together…
✧ A complete redesign of a home page, about page, and services page
✧ Incorporating new branding and all of the custom graphics, fonts, colors, and brand elements that go along with it
✧ Moving your small website (5 pages or less) from another platform to Squarespace
✧ Adding helpful special features to your site such as FAQ dropdowns, testimonial carousels, sections with background colors, pricing blocks, and so much more!
✧ Setting up an online store, Squarespace Scheduling or Online Courses, or adding a blog and/or a portfolio
✧ Designing new web pages
✧ The set up or customization of a purchased third-party Squarespace template
✧ Moving your content from Squarespace 7.0 to Squarespace 7.1 (while making any site layout improvements in the process, of course!)

You don’t need a top-to-bottom redesign, but you ARE ready for some help to get your website looking as professional as you feel. Whether you want to add or redesign pages, incorporate new branding, open that online store or start that new blog, we can make it happen together. Trust me when I say…it’s amazing the difference a day can make.

This is a GREAT fit for you if...

✧ You’re in need of a complete website overhaul that addresses your entire site – layout, content, all or most of your pages, SEO, the works. A custom website would be the best option for you (I can help there too!)
✧ If you use a platform other than Squarespace for your web hosting (and plan to keep your site there)
✧ You cannot be available on your chosen Design Day (your feedback is important within such a small timeframe, so I’ll need you to be accessible all day!)
